Great interactive assembly ideas. Some need a bit of prep but are worth it. I will be looking to buy the other book to go with it.

Excellent book. Have used it in SEAL assemblies for a couple of years. Lost the original and wanted another copy.

Loved this books. It has saved me hours of work and the children have loved the assemblies that we have done so far. Builds on all the SEAL work done in school. Would highly recommend it. Thanks a million.

This item is exactly as described. It is very well made from quality materials and looks great. Very pleased with my purchase.

This book is invaluable to have for emergency assemblies.Easy to follow,non-religious (beware you may need some props) Children really love the interactive nature of the assemblies though I found a few needed careful explaining. ‘The bundle of sticks’ can seem contradictory-children thought meaning was ‘if you split jobs up they are easier’ rather than the strength of the whole group.

From Positive Press comes a positively God-free book; if you want these 36 assemblies to become ‘acts of workshop’ then, as the authors freely admit, you will have to do the religious bit yourselves. But don’t look here for guidance. If you want assemblies to address a purely social agenda – bullying, friendships, sharing – then this book is for you. The approach is serious, straightforward and reflective, with the emphasis squarely on self; self-analysis, self-esteem and self-respect. Junior Education
