This book is great to promote positive behaviour through assemblies. I am currently using it for all my assemblies this term and there will be plenty left for future revisiting. Make sure you read the chapter in advance as props or ‘plants’ are advised but not necessary. Like all teachers I adapt the suggestions for my audience. The children really seem to listen and take in the rule(s).
My favourite assembly so far was ‘I’m glad I’m not a domino’ when two of my teachers and I had an argument and fight in front of the school. The children loved it! Buy it….it will be worth its weight in gold!

This is exactly what you need when told last minute you’re doing assembly! It works well and is interactive and engaging.
