Here is Jenny at YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation – a publicly owned central purchasing body based in Wakefield, Yorkshire). She is holding a purple (goody) bag, and one of each of these was given out to each delegate attending the training today.
Jenny said, “It’s very exciting – I’m just about to start training at the wonderful YPO in Yorkshire. Years ago, people attending training courses would often be given free gifts – and today it’s so lovely to see that everyone has been given a purple bag full of lovely stationery items and vouchers towards buying books etc. This is quite a rare thing to see nowadays – when many of us have to bring our own food to share on training days. Gone are the heady days when caterers would bring in delicious food for everyone! it’s lovely working with YPO!”
Today Jenny is training in “Promoting Powerfully Positive Lunchtimes and Calmer Dining Halls” which is a practical day full for anyone involved in school lunchtimes or playtimes of ideas and strategies, designed to calm dining halls and help make playgrounds more active and fun. This is a second training day in a couple of months – the first being ‘How to Boost Emotional Health and Wellbeing for Staff and Children’.
Thank you everyone at YPO and delegates – have a great training day!
